Delete your Percy account
You can request deletion in Percy's settings or contact us without installing or signing in to the app.
Request deletion by email
- Email support@signascend.com with the subject “Percy account deletion request.”
- Send the request from the email address associated with your Percy account when possible. If you cannot access that address, tell us which account you want deleted.
- We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before completing the request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or social account access tokens.
The link opens your email application. If you use webmail, you can copy the address and subject above. A request is sent only when you send the email.
What is deleted and what remains
Deletion removes your Percy account and associated information, subject to the retention limits in the Percy Privacy Policy. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify eligible information in Percy's active systems within 30 days. Provider-held information, security records, and protected recovery copies have separate retention limits explained in the policy. Backups do not all expire within 30 days; deleted accounts must be suppressed and purged before restored data can serve users.
Deleting Percy does not delete your original social accounts or posts already published there. Information belonging to other members of a shared account is not deleted solely because you leave.
Disconnecting a social account or uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your Percy account or information already stored.
